hey guys, i just put a new motor in my 93 gs and when i went to start it up the bike just jumps up really high and stays there? i have checked the cables multiple times and all is were it should be. i have tried 2 sets of carbs and they both do the same thing? does anyone have any ideas? thanks.

hmm from my limited knowledge i would say: Idle screw, check to see if the choke is going back in all the way, oh and wait for more advice  :thumb:

mine did that because the carbs were out of sync..... then it did it cuz there was a vacuum leak in the boots...... then it did it cuz there was a vacuum leak in the caps..... then it did it cuz the choke was adjusted too tight so it was on even though it looked off....  I forget in what order, but it's fairly normal now.  Tried carbs with diff jets?
