My petcock is leaking right where the nob is. I'm guessing its from the o-ring. Is there anyway I can just replace the o-ring or do I have to replace the whole assembly?

Get a new petcock. The stocker sucks. Do a forum search for 'starvation' and you'll know more.

If you have a pre-'01, you can try a 01+ petcock.  They're fairly cheap, better designed, and I don't THINK I've heard anyone post-01 complain about it.  My 01 is working just fine today in 07, so it's good for at least 6 years.

Yes, you can replace just the o-ring. I do it every time I convert to no-vac.

I would love to change the petcock, but I'm a little on the budget side. I'll probably get a 01 petcock sooner or later or maybe the crf250 one, but right now I think i should just get the o-ring. Anyone know where to get one or any shop out here in L.A. I can pick one up at?

Any auto parts seller should have one.
