I have a polished Jardine Aluminium Muffler and I notice its starting to dull a little and has a few marks that can't be removed by washing.

What's the best way of polishing up the muffler without introducing fine scratches or swirl marks.

A mate mentioned something about a spray on, wash off product but couldn't remember what it was called.

Does such a product exist and is it any good?

I've never heard anything good about the spray on wash off stuff.    Brass-O works wonders on aluminum, just use a really soft cloth for polishing.  If you have a pair of high-end sunglasses, the polishing cloth included with those works quite well.

Mothers aluminum polish works superbly as well.  I use it on my exhaust, grab bar, and my polished wheel lips.  Works great.

The chrome on the Harley seems to like it

I used to polish my 7005 mountain bike with some mess that comes in a toothpaste tube. After you remove the oxidation, apply it again and then remove it with a dremel and a small buffing wheel. The dremel can get into small spots, edges, and chamfers very well.

Makes aluminium look like chrome.

+1, I used it on pretty much anything that had a metallic, polished or chrome finish (Bikes, Motorcycles, Rims, etc.) and it's like the universal do-all.

Autosol is good, but tough to find.  Also there's Wenol and Auto Wenol.

Flitz, a metal polish made in Germany, is excellent.  I use it on my trumpet!  Supposed to be non-abrasive, but I think ANY polish is abrasive to some degree.

When I first read the title of this thread I thought it was an ethnic joke!

Autosol is easy to find down here

If you want to do it right goto www.eastwood.com and order the aluminium polishing kit (19837). It comes with everything you need plus step by step instuctions. Yes it is a little high (29.99). But you can you it over and over and once you understand how to do it right you will be polishing every thing in site.
