New Ninja 250?

I doubt these are really a new 250, this is probably just a euro ninja 400 or something ridiculously cool that I've never heard of, that's common over there, and you will all laugh at me. But if the ninja 250 and 500 got this remake for real... I'd probably buy a 500...

Hang out there, we may flame, but we don't hate.

My attitude is in serious need of readjustment, and I'm ok with that.

If they'd make a 500  2 stroke that looked like that I'd sell my soul for it.

If they made a 500 2 stroke like that... your soul wouldn't stay in your body long.. nor would your internal organs...

Not sure, sport bikes with less than 600 cc don'r really sell over here (Europe) and as far as I know the ZX6R is the smallest Kawasaki selling in Europe. Judging by the tires on that pic this is definitely a smaller bike, and the headlight is almost exactly the same as on the new Z750 so I'd say it's something new.

Unless of course it's something that's been available only in Japan because of their laws (they encourage small displacements)

What part of Europe are you from :icon_confused: ?
I thought Small displacement sportbikes were all over the place there?

I wouldn't be too surprised if it was a new 250/500 look for the '09 model year.  Wheels look the same as the old 250, and it's definitely a parallel twin from the exhaust behind the front wheel.

It just looks like the ninja 650r to me, but with a different exhaust...

OgGy is right.
Class <500cc is slowly disappearing round here, under this point of view the situation in my country (Italy) is worse than in other EU countries. You'll hardly see small bikes, there's a huuuuuge gap between 125cc's and 600 cc's (except for scooters and dirtbikes, it's just another world).
What a pity. I do like 400-500 cc bikes. Especially 400's, 'cause their insurance costs are pretty ridiculous. My secret dream is a used GSF Bandit 400. :icon_mrgreen:

i actually considered the nina 250 for a first bike. if kawi actually produced a 250 that looked like the the bigger bikes i would jump on it. nice price for a beginner bike i think. the 250 i sat on felt really "flimsy". (for lack of better word)

I'm from Croatia, and as Simon said small displacement sportbikes are really rare these days.

I've been on vacation there for the last three summers; Porec, Rovinj and last August in Malinska, Krk Island.
Unfortunately in summertime it's full of Italians, though.
