Huy,
So I bought my GS over the summer. I've been planning on getting a dog for a while. A few weeks ago I finally got one, Blew-He has one blue eye(husky mix). N E way, I like to travel on weekends but I feel guilty leaving him behind. A few months ago I saw this episode of C.H.I.P.S(eric estrada 70's Cali motorcycle cop) u kno, Well the episode starts w/ a guy running out of the bank nd gettin on a bike, right behind him is a dog. The dog jumps on the back of the bike! I'm thinkin neat trick well it turns into a chase scene nd the dog is LEANING into turns and all! I was stunned. My question, Think its illegal to get a dog to do that? Blew is about 30 pounds it could work... Maybe some sort of harness

I've seen a dog ridin' on the tank and there is someone around here carries a small dog in a sort of basket affair on the front of a scooter but all in all given the potential for grief I wonld not recommend it.

In Cricket the testicular guard, or Box, was introduced in 1874. The helmet was introduced in 1974. Is there a message??

dont know about other states, but the state of fla says that all Animals must be secured within the confines of the vehicle, as to pickuptrucks, the is spose to be a strong durable cage not taller then the cab bolted or otherwise secured into the bed of the truckso it will not shift about.  but to answer your question, yes an animal can learn to ride. fact there was a Cat that took frequint rides on a GS500, the owner even carpeted the tank, made headgear and everything.

Accelerate like your being chased, Corner like you mean it, Brake as if you life depends on it.

There was a guy I saw riding local roads here last summer with a sidecar, and in the sidecar was his dog.  The dog was wearing a little leather flight cap and goggles.  Looked like Snoopy.  I almost fell off my bike laughing.

If it were my dog, I would not do it.  One unexpected move, and you're both part of the asphalt.

Canoeing is about the riskiest thing I expose my dog to, and only because the fool likes to jump off and swim.

Hmm, does Florida allow people to ride in the bed of the pickup nowadays?  Seems like the pets would be more secure than the people!

Yeah, ppl can ride in back of P/U's but must be sitting down in bed, not on boxes, wheel tubs, or side of bed. the cages are to keep the dogs from jumping out of the bed and NOT hanging themselves on thier leashes.

Once in Ohio, I saw a sheppard riding on the back of a bike with his front paws on the drivers shoulders and the dog's head above his helmet.  :o
Heck...I don't even let mine ride in the back of my truck, leashed or not.
Common sense in not very common.

This might be a guy I know.  The dude who sold me my first bike was a bike collector and a big pet guy.  He would ride around in a Harley sidecar rig with his dog at his side and often take long trips this way.  As for his wife, she has her own bike.
