The plan costs the same as for my blackberry.   I pay about $80 a month for everything including tax

I got the 4gb, i pay 80/mo. My previous plan was 40/mo for 850 minutes but was not compatible with teh iphone plan. Further more i was getting pissed at the Nokia E61i interface. If i wanted the E61i to surf the web unlimited i was going to pay about 70+tax and for a 'mobile' web interface.. for 10 bucks more i got the iphone.

Now time for more applications and no more BS mr. jobs..

yeah,  the 'mobile' web pretty much sucks.  Especially once you've experienced it on the iPhone.
I am a mega Mac fan.   I've got a MacBook right now but after christmas I'm probably upgrading to a MacBook Pro

More Applications:  Search iPhone hacks,  all sorts of crap.  Requires very little experience,  most have very detailed instructions.

Yeah peachfuzz,  I wasn't willing to shell out 500 for one but when it came to being able to get one for 200  I caved

i'm on my 3rd one    , first one was 'manufacture" default, 2nd one got washed for a couple hours - it still worked completely fine after few min with a hair dryer but the camera had water/soap stains and i had insurance so i figured wth and now i'm on my 3rd 

I had all sorts of problems with RAZR's.  Everything from it randomly dialing numbers to waking up to one catching fire on my nightstand.

Lets see.  I have free mobile internet.  I changed my startup and shutdown animations, and front LCD image.  I can use my razr as a free, totally wireless modem for my laptop.  I can hook up to my pc and use my phone as a usb hard drive.  And, of course, I can take pics, video, and use it as a music player, gps, etc.  Gee, I wish it had some functionality.     Oh, and I got it free with the 'New every two' promo from Verizon.  Hmm...$300 or more for an iphone with a minimum $80.00 plan for full functionality, or two phones for $50.00 (my wife got the new krzr) with a $60.00 plan.  That's a grand total of two phones vs. one, and a minimum $250 savings +$20 each month in contract savings.  Yeah, no contest. 

Now, if I had money to throw away...well, I'd probably get the razr anyway, and spend the rest on my bike.

heard of it before, the bat on my 1st,old one, used to get a little hot if i left it on too much. My new one doesn't get hot so i think they fixed the problem.

Anyway,  i'm absolutely loving the iPhone, and I've been looking into getting my ACPT and ACDT  certifications.

iPhones are nice, but I'll never buy one or any Apple product for that matter.

And Razr's are complete garbage. People always say "yeah, I'm getting a new phone tomorrow - Motorola Razr!" and I'm like "Nnnnnooooo!!!". They always come back the next day and tell me it sucks and I was right.

I just picked up a Sony Ericsson w810i, it's pretty sweet too - but it's no crackberry or iPhone.
