Im torn between these bikes.
Kawasaki ZZR600
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R
Honda CBR600RR
Hyosung GT650S

As far as price goes the GT650 and the ZZR600 are my best best. this is what Im looking for from my next bike Obviosly must be EFI im done with carbs, Second agressive riding style, Third something great for the daily comute and also for some twisting canyon runs, and last (call me a squid if you like) one that can power wheelie :icon_twisted:. I dont care too much about MPG or high octane needs and stuff like that.

Aggresive position and a good daily commuter???
You're missing the bike you really want.

Rode it didnt like it all that much. what I mean by daily comute is that I can lane split between cars, have something that warms up faster than my gs. but since I ride to work everyday I need somethng that has some decent tires on it. and I prefer an agressive riding style, hence why my rear sets are further back and up than most and my clip-ons are mounted under the triple tree.

I've never heard of someone not liking an f4i.  Wasn't it voted like the favorite bike of the year a few years straight???

Of those bikes I would definitely choose the CBR,  Honda makes a seriously nice product :thumb:

My mate had a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R

just before he got his Z1000 ,one quick , great sounding bike , he cant drive properly .. Scared , but comfy on the back

Lotsa people Buddha Loves You about the F4i, usually it's people who can't ride :flipoff:
of the 600's you have listed the one that is going to come the closest to a power wheelie is the 600RR :icon_rolleyes:
Is this going to be a new bike or used? That will determine some things as well. The 07 600rr is different from the 06 and earlier.
I would stay away from Hyosong, our local dealer quit selling them, the amount of warranty work he was doing on them was negatively impacting service for his other clientel.
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

i get the impression that the zzr is a "sport touring" bike.  i've heard both good and bad things bout the hyosung bikes. don't think i'd personally buy one just yet. as for looks, i'd give props to the honda. i learned on rebel. i've heard nothing but good bout honda's. i've owned several honda cars. bullet-proof engines. my vote would be for the honda. the kawi may have a more agressive seating position but i think the honda is more comfy. thats's just my impression from sitting on them. i'm not sure bout the 08 models. the models i've sat on were 06 and 07. have not ridden any of them however. but it's your dollar. get what you want. you won't be happy till you do.  :thumb:

depends. Is the ZX-6R the newer one thats a 636? if so it will power wheelie way easier than the RR. the RR is balanced so that it takes a bit of effort to get it to wheelie, compared to other 600's.

The RR isnt the most comfortable-seat is hard as a rock. It IS however the most stable handling. All the RR's are good, they've gotten progressively better with the 07 being superior to the 06, the 05 far better than the 03/04. I have an 04 and the improvements arent significant enough to warrant my selling it for an 07.

Yama I will clarify a little more the Hyosong dealer here in town did not sell any other brand of bike they got into them a while back the shop was strictly a service shop that sells gear, oil and filters, accecories, dynotuning etc... They are now back to this which is good.

The owner is a fairly accomplished CMRA road racer and campaigned a Hyosong 650, some of the front end and brake mount parts you see on the gt650 were developed by Scott but he received 0 credit or money for it when some engineer copied his design off of the race bike and put it on the production machine.

As far as warranties get a life. A 1year factory on all new bikes and I slappped 4 years additonal on the wifes bike for 500 bucks. Of course it's a honda so it was probably just a waste of money. I don't care how great the warranty is if there is a high probability I will have to use it I don't want the machine to begin with. Warranty is like insurance. They make money off of me because I pay for shaZam! I don't use but if I have to use it I have it.

I demo rode a ZZR600 a month or so ago.  I was really impressed with the comfort, handling and lack of Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz at highway speed (as opposed to the R6S that I tried out).  It feels like a good bike for the money.

I believe its more like the 2000-2002 ZX6R (although to be perfectly honest, I don't know what changes they made between 95 and 02).  It is a retired race-replica design, but short of missing FI and inverted forks the technology in the bike is fairly recent.

Nope that's what you drive when your wife divorces you and takes all your good vehicles, then your pinto blows up.  After you get out of the hospital from the explosion, you get a hyosung.  Hyosung should put out a large displacement bike and call it a 'hibachi'  that way when people say they want to get a hibachi it will actually be a real bike.
