Looks like there will be a 2008 GS500F somewhere in the world, no naked 08 GS500 shown yet.  From Global Suzuki:

2007 GS500F:

407,400 miles in 30 years for 13,580 miles/year average.  Started riding 7/21/84 and hung up helmet 8/31/14.

Looks like they went BACK in time with the 08 version....

The paint job has an older look to it than the 07 bike and i would guess it remains unchanged. Suzuki just don't seem to realise that there is a market for 500 bikes like honda and kawasaki do.

So it looks like the baby GS is gonna live one more year, at least.
...But where's the naked?!?!?!?!?

Thats a picture of the new GSX650F. It looks just like the GS500f.

No, it's a GS500F, look at the engine cases and single front disc and fairing shape, etc.  Came from Global Suzuki in PDF form so I didn't get a real sharp print when I downloaded and resized it.  From here:

Easiest way to tell for me is to look at the signal generator cover.  Very different curves.

That new paint scheme is awful.  Just...awful.

ABSOLUTNATI

Agree. A bike like that should be way more attractive.
