lakeland - this weekend ? iirc there is a HD type meet every first or second sunday of the month in lakeland. i'll make sure...

anywho, figure out a time place to meet and i'll show.

I should be able to make it although I'm not sure where the HD meetup is.  I live right by the HD dealership though.

next weekend is stuntoberfest in lake land..i thins its the 14th,15th and 16th.. i might be wrong..i rode some twisties today and attempeted to tape it..the camera broke...and i tried my fone but i pointed to the sky, then the fender lol ..

Wow!  That's all I can say.  You guys are real outlaws.  20mph clutch dumps in a walmart parking lot on a geared bike.  How far are you holding them for?  20ft? lol. 

Of anyone here who should follow the rules it should be you.  Serioiusly, losing your license while in the guard is not a good thing   Especially if you have any security clearance

Disclaimer:  My knowledge here only extends to the state of Georgia.

Wheelieing on a public road is considered reckless driving in Georgia.
If convicted, the DMV is instructed to asses 6 points on your license.  In the state of Georgia, considering your age,  this is more than enough to suspend your license.  That's just one charge they can brew up.  Try it on a busy road and see if they don't get you for reckless endangerment too.

IF, and that's the key word, your CO is worth a shaZam! he will know if you get your license suspended and would take disciplinary action.  Just because it's the guard doesn't mean you can get away with everything, though there are tons of things you can get away with.

I'm just saying 'Be careful, and always be watchful'  I've been there, it wasn't a major problem, but why get into trouble when it can be avoided?

yeh dude were all soo happy for you..u can wheelie for 100 feet..you must be like a god   

hold the handlebars nice and steady - when you crank up, you will want to pull the throttle towards you to keep it up, but you don't want to land with the steering crooked. plus, if you don't have a 14t sprocket, you will struggle to keep it up. it's a bit easier to do on a slight downhill grade. A long downhill isolated straightaway facilitates idiocy. check Google maps to find one in your area. you also probably want to be rolling just a bit (0-5 mph ) when you dump the clutch - this will keep the bike from getting away from you. rev it to 7-9k and dump it is basically all you need to know.

later, you'll probably not want to let off the throttle until you run out of revs, and possibly shift into second (i haven't gotten this far yet)

I can't do it next Saturday either, but I think I could on Sunday or almost anytime after.

Buy a 125-250cc dirtbike and learn on that.
