I took the MSD Course this weekend and passed.  Now all I have to do is go to the BMV and get my endorsement.  I've already gotten my permit.

Here are a couple camera phone shots from the class.

Here is what I rode.  A Suzuki SZ250.

And here is some of the swag we got for completing the course, A couple of patches and a reflective sticker for my helmet:

Oh and I also got a card to take to the BMV to prove that I passed the course.

Cool!

So did you have fun?   :)
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Oh yeah....had a pretty good time.  Learned a lot too.

Glad to hear it.

I found that the people in my class who didn't have fun were the people who didn't pay attention.  Such as the guy who proclaimed he had been riding 20 years on a permit and knew everything there was to know about riding.  (He failed the test, badly)

Had a couple know-it-alls in my class too...however, everyone passed.

I aced (100%) the written test and got dinged 6 points for the riding portion.  I put my foot down during the U-turn and stopped too far for my speed during the panic stop.  So overall I don't think I did too bad.

Congratulations.  You're now entering into the most fun, scary, productive and exciting period of your riding career - enjoy!

Get with the program!

Congrats! I took it a few months ago and been riding a few days a week ever since.  I learned a lot since I had never ridden before.  I got a few points knocked off for the figure 8 in the box exercise, but otherwise I did really well.
