I think I am going to get one as well, although it would have been nice if they redid the 500 as well.  I am not a fan of the 650.

Letting it ride on black has always worked for me!

Oh, that's easy, the ninja 250 is a piece of sheite ... OK you may think its 1/2 the size of the 500 which may make it 1/2 as shitty, but however its not, its almost 75% as shitty.
BTW, purple + yellow is the best color for it. Mix the 2 and you get a beautiful turd brown color.  .

srinath, why do u say ninja 250 is shaZam!? are u one of the die-hard suzuki fanatics who thinks any other product is inferior? it's not kawasaki's fault they are the only ones smart enough to produce a 250 sport bike for the US. 

I am a huge yamaha fan of late, and I have had a kawi fetish too for seveal models. Eliminator series, vulcan and the Kz twins. They too the KZ and screwed it all up. That is the EX500.
Proof in in the pudding, ride it or better yet try to fix it and you'd know.
The eli's are complicated too, but its competetion is a lot worse, all V4's eli's are I-4. Hands down winners IMHO.

BTW, the yammie's I am raving about haven't been made in 20 years.
