Anybody North of Detroit missing a red GS500?

I was coming home from a bunch of errands this afternoon & a pick up pulled up next to me with a red GS500 in the bed.  Not tied down, it looked like it was just on it's side stand, and it had a licence plate.  Hmmmm.  I got behind him & at the next stop the bike fell over in the bed.  Dude driving the truck just glanced at it & kept going.

It seems to me anybody that belongs with the bike would at least stop & take a look.

Anyhow, I called the local cops with the info on the bike & the truck, so they at least have the plate number of the truck.  Hopefully nothing, but.........

I didn't get theft insurance...but that's because I have a 90 that doesn't look like the prettiest girl in her class...haha. Some of those newer ones though I could see someone stealing.

Always park next to a new 600, or any bike with an Italian sounding badge.  ;)

If you find a Duc 1098 or something similar, leave the keys in your GS.   Have no fear, it will be there when you get back.  The Duc on the other hand...  Hard to tell.   :icon_razz::laugh:
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

It's good of you to list what you saw here. Maybe go a step further and post on craigslist ?
