I bought a 2004 GS500F a month ago and I'm loving it   :icon_mrgreen: I've always been into sports cars and thought a lot about getting a bike.  I like the look of a sport bike, but I didn't want to get something that would be to much of a handful to learn on... the GS500F fit the bill perfectly.  I picked up a Z1R stance helmet, Joe Rocket Phoenix 4.0 jacket, and AGV gloves right away.  I have put almost 1,000 miles on the bike in the first month  :thumb:  The bike was repainted, it seems to be a love it/hate it color... feel free to post your comments.  I'm glad to join the GS500 community

I have always liked that color on cars and I think it looks great on the GS also. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome.
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Thanks for the compliments.  If I decide I want a naked bike I'll probably just get an SV650, a friend of mine has one and it's a really nice bike  :thumb:  Fortunately I have a few experienced riders to teach me the ropes.  My sister has a ZX-6R, a co-worker/firend has a CBR1000RR (he is the one that tested and rode the GS500 back for me), another friend has a 650R that he said I could ride whenever we go riding next time, and another has a Harley 1200 sportster... so there is usually somebody I can ride with on the weekends.  I was riding the bike almost every day until I picked up a screw in my front tire last Saturday (the tire had less than 1,000 miles on it  ) I ordered a new tire since I didn't want to chance patching the tire... so as soon as the tire arrives and is mounted I'm going for an extended ride to break in the new tire.

That looks like a 350zx stock color. One of which I really like on that car. It looks very nice on your new ride. Congrats on a real looker. :)

Now, about making it a 'naked' machine until you've dropped it a few times.... mainly i just want to see how copper looks on a naked ;)

Be carefull out there man-of-few-posts !

Lol, I haven't had time to make many posts with all of the riding I've been doing  :thumb:  The scariest part of riding so far is creeping down the dirt road to my house, now that will rattle your nerves  :o

YES, another orangeish bik. There are not enough of us. Nice color. That was the color I originally wanted on my bike. I will have to side with the naked members though.
