Picked this up last week, want to learn how to wheelie, this is the place to start, holy cow is this a fuckton of fun!

2004 CRF70F with the following mods:
* Trailbikes 88cc engine kit
* Trailbikes race cylinder head
* High volume oil pump
* CDI box - Heavy duty clutch springs
* Stagg's rear shock with adjustable compression and rebound damping
* Joker machine front springs
* Custom wound stator for 12v power
* Headlight with kill switch
* Bmx style tall bars







For those who don't have a CRF50/70/88, THESE ARE NECESSARY FOR ANYONE WITH A LOVE FOR MOTORCYCLES.  It's like a toy that goes 50 mph and wheelies on command, just frigging glorious!

I want TWO of these SO bad! We can throw those in the minivan, take 'em to dirt, put and play all day, if it falls on you it's not such a beast to crawl out from under! Wicked fast little stinkers too!

 I rode one of those in the Halloween parade this year for work FUN! I didnt like the shif from 1st to 2nd though.. a bit rough w/ no clutch.

A bunch of guys at work have pitbikes... Mostly 110's. We organize races all the time.. its a blast!

I do have a KTM 50sx    I kick all my buddies ass's on their crf50's and 110's 

I was considering a KTM ProSenior 50, made a good amount more power and was substantially quicker once it hit it's powerband, but was dead as a doorknob before then, the powerband on 2 strokes is so narrow that it's not as easy to wheelie with it as with the 88cc kit, race cam and carb, this guy feels like it was made to ride like a unicycle, it's great!

BTW, you're absolutely right about the shifting, that took some getting used to, still not exactly great, but better if you blip the throttle on downshifts.

I used to have an XR80,  you're right about em being fun. I could never get started with wheelies on mine, just never understood the throttle control part.

when I can get another dirtbike, yeah wheelie mania.

Ive been looking to get a dirt bike to learn to wheelie on but I think I need something a bit bigger.  For the right price, do you guys think a Suzuki DR-Z125L would be a good bike to learn on?  I'd much rather drop this than my SV.

from what i have learned, ( unless im wrong) teh dirtbikes, ( 2 smokers especially) wheelie ALOT easier , and a lot more abruptly. if you can master that, you can pretty much handle anything

Yea make sure your getting a 2 smoker 125, if your looking at a 4 stroke you wana be up near the 300cc range to have the right power to wheelie. The difference with the smaller bikes is your physical input has alot more effect than the tanklike (in comparison) SV and GS.

I rode my Neighbors Kids Little RM80 back in the Summer.Even at Around 248Lbs it Still Wheelied.Then I tried out the little RM60. Geez they were Stock too.I told Him if they got bored to Holler at me and I would Modify them if he Bought the Parts.
