99.9 pence per liter, thats around £4.50 per gallon, in the UK, around $9 per gallon US.
I have to ask, how much do you guys in the US pay for fuel ?
Never regret the things that  you have done in life, only  the things, you have not done !

65% of that is tax...

Bear in mind that a US gallon is about 83% of a British gallon, so the equivalent is more like $7.50/US gallon for comparison purposes.

As top gear put it... actually petrol here is cheap, very very cheap, cheaper than water. Which they say makes no sense, i mean to get petrol to us here in the UK they have to build millions of dollars worth of oil rig, float it out into the sea, dig a huge hole, not find any oil, move the rig, dig another big hole, find oil, ship it to a multi million dollar refinary, clean it up, get rid of any waste, pacakage it and ship it to england and THEN ship it to the petrol stations to put in our cars. Yet for water they find a natural spring plotted on a map, bottle the water and ship it. Yet they worked out we WOULD be paying 30p a liter for petrol compared to £2 a liter for a bottle of bloody mineral water.

We get raped on TAX, hence why our fuel costs are insane and were all buying super expensive car's packed with technology for low emmisions and low fuel consumption just so we can afford to run them.

Not to mention by the time you take all the tax deducted from our earnings 40% tax, add to that VAT we pay on nearly EVERY product we buy, add to that fuel costs and other tax's such as car tax, rubbish tax all sorts of tax. What we really earn, money that we can spend is like %20-30 of our salaries if that.

Yes, definitely. :(
That's one of the reasons why we drive small, can-sized cars. :icon_mrgreen:
(And my country still pay taxes on petrol to finance, among other things, the 1936 Abyssinian invasion...go figure :icon_rolleyes:)

Canada was $$$ always. However now that the US $$ is below the canadian $$ you'd think it will be lower in canada. Those things that have a hard coded price like books $5.95 US, $6.95 Can ... I guess you're screwed.
Cool.
