I'm confused by this:

https://www.ronayers.com/fiche/300_0284/headlamp_housing/headlamp_housing.cfm?man=su&groupid=3190&parent=3070

1-1 and 1-2?  How do I tell the difference?  They're basically the same part, right?  I don't need one of each?  Or am I just really confused?

One other question:  I have Renthal bars on now, which are bent.  They came with the bike, which I've always found rather puzzling.  I got the bike with 364 miles on it (as a repo, so I can't ask the old owner), and as far as I can tell there are no other non-stock parts on the bike.  Why would someone have changed just the bars in the first 350 miles?

Anyway, I'd like to replace them with the same bars, but I don't see anything that looks like a part number.  The wiki handlebar page doesn't mention them, but I'd like to replace what I have with the same thing, only, well, not bent.  Any ideas on where I'd find out what part number these are likely to be?  (ooh, I have a serial number on the bike - I don't suppose Suzuki could tell me who the original dealer was, on the off chance they put them on?)

Thanks! I got my cast off Monday.  Now I'm ready to put the bike back together!

Only a Suzuki dealer could tell you what's up with that part number.   One number may be an early number and one a late number OR one might be a slightly different piece for non-USA markets.  The dealer's computer should be able to tell you if someone else here cannot.

As far as the bars, go to www.renthal.com, click on renthal products, then 2007 catalog.  Maybe you can find your bars there.  Several online stores carry them.

The different bars changes the riding position.Do you have pics you can post of the bike and bad parts you need.?

Regarding the headlamp housing part numbers, it is likely a superceded number or similar.

I have a complete (used) headlamp assembly here.  If you're interested PM me and I'll send you a few photos.  I'm certainly not going to charge you $79 plus shipping for it.   :icon_razz:

As far as the bars, Renthal makes aftermarket bars for dirtbikes.  I would flip though a Renthal catalog and see if I could find them.  Or, check out www.renthal.com   :thumb:
Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

I've got a (blurry) picture of the bars, but not the other parts.  I'm de-fairing a 2005, since it seemed cheaper then replacing my broken fairings...

I sent you a PM. :)

I looked at their online catalogue, and played with the "fit my bike" page, but they seem vague about what might fit the bike.  They just say to see the individual product pages.  I'll try and track down a dealer tomorrow and see if they'll be helpful.  If not, I guess I'll just try to find something similar.

Thanks!
