I have a vance & hines exhaust.  The spring that holds the two parts of the exhaust together fell off somehow.  Does anyone know where I can get that part or if there is some other spring I can use?

Also, I'm using the exhaust bolts for the stock gs exhaust.  The way the v&h mounts, half of the bolt hangs out.  I'm afraid that this might be putting too much stress on the threads in the head because they don't screw all the way in.  Did the exhaust originally come with longer bolts?  If so, I need to know where I can get those too.
