A few of my buddies work at an autobody shop, and we paint almost every day at work, so it would be really easy to do my own body work, hence why it would be so easy to repaint all of the 'body work' on my bike. This is a rough photoshop oh what my plans are.  I'd like the fairings and tank to be gloss black, flat exhaist and wheels, chrome (or close to it) frame and some accesories in flat black like the footpegs and headlight bezel and mounting hardware. Just looking for some opinions on this rough pic.

eh... i think the whole black bike is far to overdone.    on my purple one I did a 2 tone with satin black following body lines, and Idealy I'd like to strip down the frame, sandblast it and paint it a satin charcoal, graphite, or bronze color.

hmm perhaps instead of teh all black exhaust, maybe jsut teh steel insert, and powdercoat the rest of it, a different but fitting color?

I like the idea of black bodywork. frame should be yellow, it'd look like a hornet in a way.   while you're at it, paint the forks yellow too.    although I'd do the whole bike in black/yellow to look like a hornet just for the odd factor.

also, I'd ditch whatever that front tire is, and the slide king rear tire.    get 130/70 for the rear, and a 110/70 up front.  better handling than those crappy things.  no offense, I just hate the hi max tire.
looking for a new vehicle again.

ilike the look of thick walled rear tires.... id love to get one if someone made a hi performance type.

I have to agree that the all black color scheme has been done enough times. If that's what you really like it's your bike and you should do it that way.
How 'bout a dark gray or silver color for tank and body panels, charcoal wheels, powder coated frame....?? I don't know, I like the gray/silver color for bikes. Still gives it a mean look without being overdone like the all black. Good luck and have fun with your project. Cheers
