Is the choke adjustable?

I can't seem to find anything in my clymers manual about adjusting the choke. I only see one nut on the choke cable from the choke lever, and I'm not sure that it's for adjusting. I'm wondering because my engine is behaving like the chokes on a little and I want to make sure that it's not.

it could be sticking alittle bit inside the tube, try turning the handle bars left to right and see which side it gets worse on, if it does get worse. If it gets worse, follow the tube down and see where its getting streched, or if it is streached with the wheel straight.

Im not sure if there is a way to adjust it, i'd try playing with the lever a bit to free it up though.
Happyness is like peeing you pants.  Everyone can see it but only you can feel its warmth.

Two ways to adjust - one with the adjuster by the nut where the cable enters the housing the other is where the cable is attached to the carb linkage - When the choke is off. there should be a bit of slack in the cable no matter what position your bars are in -  if not adjust so there is a little bit.  If that does not work, then you probably have the cable binding due to being dirty or pinched (if you had the controls off or have taken the tank on and off you could have pinched the housing somewhere) or the linkage at the carb may be binding due to a build up of crud - You can lube the cable without removing it completely and a spray of carb cleaner followed by lubricant on the linkage at the carb will do wonders.
