Had a great run north of Tampa today. Some of the folks from over at tampasportbikes.com were a cool bunch to play with. I was a little apprehensive when I showed up and they were _all_ on cbr's, r1's and gsxr's. Needless to say they left me on the straights. The twisties were a blast, and one fella on a gsxr1300 baby sat me while the others flew.

The group I was with rode sane, courteous and well within their limits. We came across what I think was a two bike accident and the riders were taken away on Life Flight. Don't know any specifics. Hope they're OK. Somewhere around Odessa we stopped for gas, and there were 60-75 bikes there doing the same. Those roads are teaming with riders. Finally found some twisties in florida

Several people came up to inspect my gs. Either they were really good at faking it, or they liked it, since there were two 08 cbr's, an 08 r1, street triple, and some other cool machines.

Oh, saw an krazy nice kz1 like this one but with green wheels. It screeeeeamed.

yea you just gotta know where to look to find the nice turns here in florida.  some of us have to ride a little farther then others to do it.  Congrats on that run though.  If you want  Tamparacing.com is another good site that has some decent minded riders out there.
