Went to the DC Show today.  9 Bucks got me into the door, saw some nice bikes, travis pastrana, and even got a knee down.
I took a million pictures, a few are below.

I don't care for custom 'busas at all, but this one is pretty slick.

Ben Spies winning 1000.

The gorgeous 1098.

My favorite (and next) bike, the monster. drooooooooool.

Custom carbon everything monster 900.

The only time you'll see me on a buell.

Moto GP winning desmosedici. Wife had to peel me away from this one.

The $120k MV F4cc.

Man that was a fun show. Nice pictures, and thanks again for sharing with us.  :thumb:

That first hayabusa looks like the writing was backlit with LED's or something. Is it just the way it was shot ?

Man, those nakked ducatis are fantastic.

No triumphs ?  :o

The street / speed triples are tha secks !

Yeah the busas logo was backlit, kinda cool.  Oh man triumph was one of the first stands i looked for.  They had a real small display and the bikes were lined up so tight i couldnt get a good shot.  But i did sit on the triple and it is short feeling! thing must be a wheelie monster.  But agreed that the triple is one of the best looking factory bikes out there. i love the look of that bike.

Thanks for the reply.

Ya, the street AND speed triples feel like a scooter when you sit on them. They are tiny, especially the street. I haven't ridden one, but 4 owners I talked to said they were very torquey. One did say 'wheelie monster' without provocation. ;)

Thanks again for the pictures.

Nice pics Nick!  I didn't get a chance to go, but I'll be at the next one.

Looks like you have a thing for the Italian bikes...I got my eye on an 848, but it'll be a looong time before I'll have the cash to drop on that one

The Speed Triple is nice too.  I took a test ride on one at a local dealer last year and it was so nice.  It was as comfortable as the GS as far as riding position, but the power was insane compared to my bike   I think they'll have another open house this spring - if you're interested I'll give you a heads up
