My GS didn't come with the stock tool kit, which I checked for before I bought it, and put on the minus side of the equation. Now with needing to be able to properly adjust a rear shock soon, I need the adjustment tool that comes with the kit, or the whole kit if anyone has an extra?? Or has any one jury rigged that rear shock tool?
Please let me know.
Thanks!

EDIT:

Got the wrench, thanks!

I should have at least one shock spanner wrench lying around, not like I need them since I do not use GS shocks.

I read that you are looking for lowering dogbones? I have some that were on a GSXR shock that I installed. I was planning on checking tonight to see how they compair to stock GS links.
Common sense in not very common.

I think i saw a couple on ebay for pretty cheap

Hey dgyver, please do let me know on the links, I'm probably going to spring for some somewhere. Can you also let me know what brand and what the sizing is if it looks like they will work?  8)

lowcountrygs, thanks, I'll go take a look.

Crap! $35.00 with outrageous shipping!! Or maybe if I can snipe one, only 25...   All crap tools I already have better versions of, except the shock tool..   :icon_razz:

Does the Katana shock use the same tool, because that's what of course I was ass - uming, since they look so much alike and have the same number of preload adjustments.

At least my shock has been shipped!   8)

The adjustable dogbones hole centers are 167mm, 182mm and 197mm. Stock GS are 180mm.
Not sure who made them. They were on a GSXR750 shock linkage that I bought. They are polished aluminum with some wear from being installed and storage but still look good.
$10 + shipping

Found a spanner (in my 97 tool kit). No problem since it does not work on a Gix shock. I am sure I have more... somewhere...
$N/C... just cover shipping.

AFAIK, the GS spanner works on the Kat shock.

Hi dgyver, I'd love to have the spanner, I have enough spare good quality tools to make my own kit, so that's all I really need. Let me know how much to ship, and let me give you something for it. I'll PM you my info, thanks!

The dogbones I'm going to wait just a little on, thanks for checking. I might try something like this, I'm going to post on the forum and see if anyone has used something similar..
