The RVF (RC45) has a claimed horsepower of 118 in stock trim with potential for up to 180 completely race-prepped :cookoo: :cookoo: :cookoo:

750cc 4-stroke V4

It's been ridden to multiple prestigious titles including AMA superbike champ in 1999

OOOOOH, but don't forget only about 50 total came to the states and when you can find them they go for 20k-30k. :cookoo:  The RVF is freakin awesome gorgeous but at that point I'd just go all out and get a 1098r...........

The link you provided is about the RC35, however the 3rd and 4th picture are pretty clearly labeled 'RC45'  The 400cc version is still cool as shaZam! just a little bit of horsepower difference.   So, are you getting one??  If you do, you have to post pics!!!!   There's actually an RC45 near me, it's not for sale, but it is stupid f%$king fast and incredibly cool looking.

i am actually doing a research  about this bike and i found out that a few of those have been imported to isreal but everybody advice me not to buy it because the chances to find a really good rvf is pretty LOW !!!

yamahonkawazuki

but odds are youd be the only one with one. which would be pretty cool. HOWEVER ever considered spare parts availability?

Yep spares will be a real witch. The VFR750(RC36) of 94-99 is not the same engine unfortunately. The RVF750(RC45) major engine difference was relocation of the cam gear drive sprocket and PGM-FI instead of carbs. Other than that dimensionally the engine mounts were the same if I remeber right, theres a good possibility that unless you really know what your looking at you'll get scammed and wind up with a rebadged RC36 or a RC45 with a RC36 engine swap I remeber meeting a budding honda collector who got swindled that way.

If it has carbs it ain't a RC45.
Why didn't you just go the whole way and buy me a f@#king Kawasaki you bastards.

i see that it will be hard to get in good condition but yesterday in my hood an 1995 gsx-r i think it was 750 cc and i just love  the sound of it's engine here pics of the headlights :

Chances of finding a good GSXR750 of that vintage are also low especially after having 11 previous owners on average

Ehhh, the engine design is still moderately simple in that age, no big deal to fix the little shaZam!.  The cosmetics on almost any used gixxer is where problems are.  I don't think I've seen a single gixxer over a year old that wasn't damaged.

so the final question what bike is suitble to go for ????? :icon_mrgreen:
