We haven't had many opportunities to 'give back'. This stunt day is going to directly benefit http://www.early-intervention.org/infants_young_children.htm, which have recieved help from since Sidney was born 16 months ago.

So far it seems to be shaping up well. All the guys stunting will be bashing / breaking their own rides, and not paid. My family will be there volunteering (since my stunts wouldn't entertain anyone) there and enjoying the muggy tampa heat. You should come suffer... er, enjoy it to.

Like I said it's a good cause, and its a chance to put a nice row of gs's on display. Come on out and be part of the panorama. Depending on how beat I am, I may get up a short run up the FUN roads north of tampa afterwards. It all depends on the weather of course.

I'll post more details as I get them. For right now, clear your calendar for April 5th. If more than 5 of you show up, I'll personally fill your tank once (gs tanks now, don't be silly and drive your suburban over) and hopefully get to show you some local roads.

Sweet if I can get me and my screwed up heart out of the hospital I'll be there. Went to Old Town last week I was the only GS, I had taken off the decals and got a lot of second looks. It was cool being different.   

Anyhow, a free tank sounds cool! And for a good cause even better!

The event is getting bigger. I talked with one of my son's therapists today, and she was ready to pass out flyers (well, flyers with the right date) to the 12 families or so she'll visit today.

JUST ONE therapist = 12 families a day, minimum 36 people per day to hear about it. There are months still. Go figure.

Thanks for the heads up....That shouldnt be a problem though  everyone i ride with rides clean.. Although if I-4 gets foggy/smokey that morinig we may get to see the life flite choppers in action.(but lets just hope that doesnt happen again) 

I used to be a volunteer EMT in  Polk county so I may know a few of the Life Flight guys.

Mary, my guess is that frankieG "heard" ohgood coughing, mistakenly thought it was you, and started prescribing [Vicks cough drops] ... or maybe VapoRub.  (??)

Thought I was losing it ! Thought it was a strange part to the fairing. I'm on day 8 I'm taking a looong ride when I get out.

Yeah, I will call some of my EMS friends & see if they will tag along.

NO ADMISSION. Donate whatcha feel, if you wanna. The show is gonna rock. You can meet the wife n kid. There will be a meet-n-greet after the show, both the stunters and a few of the kids that will benefit. My kid will be one of em so no pressure on you to donate, but I'm teaching him to kick shins right now

Like I said, you show up on your GS, I fill your tank. If it's over at a decent time, I'll get up a decent ride north of Tampa and we'll have a blast, provided you have time to play before the ride home.
