so last week, repairing after my wreck, the place I went to had a direct replacement for the brake lever. It was brand new, but not in a package, so I dont know the brand. Anyway it is black, with the same 4 adjustment positions as the stock lever I had before the crash. He mentioned it also fits most Kawi's.

I really like the black, and want to get a clutch lever to match, but I dont know what brand to look for.

anyone know what I am talking about?

Try www.bikebandit.com   They sell a black clutch lever for my GS500.  Kawasaki is listed as well...not sure what bike you have.  Check them out:

According to results from the [Lever Search] page on the Flanders site, the derived answer is "Yes".

But to be sure, you could check the [Parts Fiches] for the "important" years ('89, '90, '00, '01, '04).
