rear set question

Okay, I need to replace as the L side is bent.  (don't ask).

What is the best rearset to buy that will give me better position, but requires the least mod.  Also, I'm not really excited about spending $$ for woodcraft so would like to know what kind of used to look for.

Thanks for any advice and direction.

woodcraft or vortex if you can find em.

I got my Woodcraft used and love em.  THey are great!

i have woodcraft too, from one of the board members, and they are great.  can you straighten out the bent one? i know it is hard as snot to do but not impossible.

ehh don't get woodcraft IMHO they are a waste of money they have solid pegs and reuse the stock pedals. Getting a pair of vortex from another bike and slotting the holes would be the best cuz you can purchase the pegboard type and adjust them as desired you can also use
standard or Moro to shifting. I'm using two ebay rearsets from two bikes and I love them 1up 5down up about 2inches and back about 1.75inches or so.

if you're doing trackdays or "aggressive" riding woodcaft is your best bet.  putting a new pedal and shift linkage on them is no biggie.  if you're just putting around or commuting bend the stock one back into shape or find a stock replacement cheap.

Thanks for the feeback.  I considered bending it back, but having it bent is a nice excuse to the wife.   :cheers:

I think I'll try to find some used cbr sets cheap and if not, bend the damn thing back.  I'm a daily commuter so I don't need track specs.  The gs is a great bike for flipping through traffic.

just be careful on the stock cbr900rr rearsets.  i had a set of woodcraft 900rr rearsets, which actually placed the pegs lower than the stock GS pegs, even though on the 900rr they move the pegs up and back 1 inch.  the stock 900rr pegs may be too low.
