I have a set of new aftermarket fork seals in my possesion. They are in some super generic looking packaging but are the right size for my GS (i think).  In any case, does anyone have any experience with aftermarket fork seals? I'm thinkin with the time/effort spent on another fork disassembly and reassembly, I am gonna be so mad if my  :guns:  :guns: forks are still leaking when I'm done... is it worth it to go out of my way to order OEM seals or canI save the money and get away with using the 'ol generic brand.
Thanks

i replaced mine about  5 mos ago with generic and no problems yet.  just make sure there aren't any nicks, cuts, etc on the fork tube when you put the new seal on.  if the seal is cut/damaged in the smallest way you'll be replacing them again soon.

Lube those seals before you slide them on those tubes. Dry rubber does not slide well.
