I searched the forum and could not find the answer i was looking for.

How much should i expect to pay to have my valve clearance adjusted?

Not sure if it helps but this thread states that jamesmcb was quoted $250 a couple of years back (October 30, 2004 in Raleigh, NC)  :o

Yikes! The valve adjustment tool cost me $20 brand new and a new shim was about $3 (plus about 1 h of my time).

I tried doing it myself without the tool. This is after i watched the video, which was fantastic.

It is at the shop right now...it is run by one of my students and his dad so I know I will get a good price. just curious about ball park. Thanks for all the input.
