I'm with PJ, I don't really understand doing wheelies, I dunno if it's cause I'm an old bugger or cause I can't do the things.  I don't really understand the whole stuntah thing either, now excuse me while I go chase some kids off my lawn.
The more I learn about women, the more I love my bike.

You can wheelie most any bike. I would think flipping the gs would be unlikely

first gear...rev to 9k...drop the clutch....

get going around 10-15mph and work your way up the revs and dumping the clutch. keep the throttle open because you'll instinctively want to shut it. the hardest part is learning to keep it open.

and it is very possible to loop the GS so be careful. and at the very least please wear a good helmet, jacket, gloves, and sturdy over the ankle work or riding boots.

Kinda funny how the gs dissapears and it looks like a kid on his bike when the shots are far off. ;)

Wonder if he's plumbed something extra to keep oil going where it should ? I found a sv650 for sale that was and old stunt bike. It didn't sound good.

Ive ridden about 1500 miles on my bike, and lately Im starting to try....  its really just a matter of taking off fast enough, letting out the clutch fast enough but smooth, getting torque to the pavement, no?    Ive been doing this at stoplights and its loads of fun to take off on my gs...  I think the wheel will come off the ground soon... :dunno_white:

hey batman, stoplights is no no's.  if ya gotta doit, get a empty lot and a buddy (with a truck !) for when ya drop it. we'd rather have you around after you drop it ;)

that being said, it's easy. slip the clutch a little in 1st gear, up comes mr wheel. now, if you slam it down enough, you'll moof the front bearings n stuff, so it's not a really good thing to do.

yaya, it's neat the first few times... then it's like 'what am i doing, i look like a squid!' feeling ;)

I usually slip my clutch to keep the damn wheel on the ground :dunno_white:  Wheelies are cool, but I usually wait for a dead parking lot, get a full tank of gas and play until the gas light comes on.

Damn thing starts flashing and it's kinda annoying.  Honestly, i don't play around as much as I figured I would on the Gix.  I barely ever get her past 7-8k.

keep both wheels on the ground,  first off dont do it at stoplights, find empty parking lots,  wonder y people always badmouth motorcycles for being reckless and stupid  TADA!!!, go somewhere with less people, cars, shaZam! for you to hit. and get some more miles under your belt.  I ride with the detroit sport bikes  (DSB) and i put 8000 miles on the bike last season and im just now wondering about wheelies, start small, and just keep going, higher and higher that way when they are big, your at least comfortable with them and dont panic and screw you and the bike up.  ive tried a few times last season a few weeks before i had to winterize it. i got the front about  a foot of the ground, but i didnt try anything higher. this season i will, but lowering my front end, and keeping the rear stock is not helping the wheelies it just makes them harder. so once i get the front back up things should turn around quickly

2000, the last of the SRAD's.
Hard acceleration in 1st and the wheel comes right up, it'll come up in 2nd without clutch if the winds are right and I 'can' clutch it up in 3rd.  Poor thing barely gets past 3rd gear anyway.............of course 3rd is good past 100mph.......

Yeah, wheelies on the GS,  clutch in, rev to about 9k, cover your rear brake and dump the clutch.   Then hit the  for sale section looking for new plastics........

I will be sure to find  a parking lot if I get a hair and try again, I havent dropped my bike yet, and since I want to keep it that way, I will be trying to resist the urge
