Thanks for all your comments...i hurt but its not bad. The bike still runs the same so its all good. I am going to try and find a fix a flat kit for the tank and then try and go digital on the gauges. The bars are ok but I might go ahead and change them anyway. what are the weights for on the bar ends?

shaZam! man, I feel sorry for you!

Susuki_Jah

get a replacement headlight and bucket from here. http://store.adjureinc.com/index.html

I ordered one from a motorcycle shop from this company and it is so much brighter and better looking than the stock one.

here is a pic of the one I got for the bike.

its just to give you a heads up on parts for the bike so you dont have to go searching for stock crap. you can upgrade a lot for just as much or cheeper than stock. if you ever want any help on finding stuff hit me up.

good luck man

what are the weights for on the bar ends?
They're designed to dampen vibrations in the handlebars.  I have removed them and replaced with aluminium aftermarket ones, and can't notice any extra vibes (they're much lighter).

When replacing the bar ends you just need to be aware that Suzuki changed from screw-in bar ends to the more common ones with the rubber bung that expands.  You will be able to see easily which type your bike takes by looking up the handle bar tube.

Btw, I picked up my ends for ~$15 - so not an expensive upgrade/replacement.

Jay_wolf, has or had one for sale.  It doesn't replace the light fixture though as on a lot of sport bikes.

Ahhh thats why I wanted one...but oh well. So here is the video of the shaZam!. I know I am dumb for not having any gear on but take it easy on me. I have learned my lesson the hard way. Wont do it again that way.

Are they nice and bright?
I too am interested in these blinkers - how directional are they?  From what I've seen it looks as though they would be completely unnoticeable from >45 degrees from center behind you.  The thing I like about the stock blinkers is that they're more out there in the cagers' faces.

By the way, the damage on your bike looks more severe than mine was when I dumped it at 50 on a highway...that must have been one hell of a crash.  Seconded on the gear - wear leathers, they'll save your ass!

edit: and a HELMET!!!  bloody hell.

Jarrett

wow.  glad you're not hurt.  :o  You'll get better at it.

Thanks for all your kind words....the blinkers are seen decently at night from an angle but I havnt look at it in the light. I wil check and get back to you on that one.

If I was to put a 60 tooth on the rear....how do I know what chain size to get? And are sprockets universal? I am not doing a 60, I dont think, just curious.
