i bought this bike as a parts bike, with that being said the bike has NO TITLE AND NO KEY.I never heard the bike run and i didn't mind either because all I needed was the forks. The gauges read 5XXX miles when i bought. I started to part it out but now i need to get rid of it because it's taking space and it's not at my house.

Also, the bike doesn't have the following:
forks
all pegs
gear shift lever
gauge cluster
rear brake cylinder
handlebars
tank was no good
seat was no good
headlight

the bike is located in clinton, MD
the frame looks ok if it can be of any use for you
if you have an offer let me here it and we can probably work something out

PS: i couldn't get any pics uploaded, I have pics from the bike just send a pm with your e-mail addy and I'll send them to you

Does the motor turn over? Either electrically or by hand  (Yeah I know  you have no key..ways around that tho...)? The carbs and exhaust were/ all still on it..(before and after you bought it?)

Clinton...right near Andrews AFB?

yes, near Andrews AFB.
I could probably be able to turn it by hand I guess, not sure (don't know too much about bikes) carbs are GONE (jeff721 from this forum took them ) exhaust is still there

if you need pics (shoot me a PM with your e-mail addy) or for further info

Let me know

about the engine...

if you put the bike on the centerstand, and the tranny is in 6th gear (keep clicking UP on the shifter) you should be able to spin the rear wheel by hand and verify there is some compression from the motor, or at least that it isn't seized.

:)

how are the turn signals ?

That would only work if he had a gear shifter  :thumb:

and really hard to do without forks as well

Jared

You don't have a shifter on your bike..... ? 10 mm socket...30 seconds....

How long has it been stored outside/stored  outside with no carbs ?

I don't have my gs anymore. I sold it after I got fixed with the parts from this bike.

it's been outside around 3 weeks

I know this bike is in MD but this title-less sheite is very very very common in my area. TX - houston and surrounding. Look on craigslist for houston. I saw a Bandit - nice shape for 350.
Cool.

Yea, dont mind the popping sounds Ohgood, its just some nuts falling on the driveway ... not gun shots at all ... no ...
The $350 bandit I just wished I had a bandit that I could use parts for, this was gorgeous. But TX is one hard state to title stuff in, he just gave up and decided it was worthless. Not surprisingly, so did I.
Cool.

how do your intake pipes look ? (the boots between the carbs and the head):

if you can push down a little and there are NO cracks, I'm interested. also, if you still have the stock carbs with STOCK needles and slides, I may be interested in them also. gimmie an idea what you want for them, + shipping to 33510.

here's a couple pictures for an idea what pipes i'm talking about:

it's pieces 21-26 IF they're in very good condition. if you have any question of cracks, i may still be interested in the carbs.
