I have a rear wheel that I swapped with my stock wheel for doing track days with the GS, but ended up getting a GSXR600 for that instead :icon_mrgreen:

The wheel came with a 160/60 Metzeler M1 on it, and I used that in an attempt to save money, but it wasn't the best decision - the tire was already three and a half years old and wasn't in the best shape.  I'm pretty sure that contributed to my lowside last November (not the only factor, but it didn't help) but I'm taking it off the wheel before I mail it anyway.  The wheel had a few scrapes and dings when I got it, and it now has one more on the rim from when I went down.  Other than that it's in great shape.  I'll include the old chain, axle, and spacers if you want them.  I can email pics of the damage if you want.  $150 shipped for the wheel only.

I also have the front M1 that I had used.  When I went back to the stock rear wheel, I didn't want to mix radials with bias ply, so I took it off.  This tire was made in Feb 07, has about 2400 miles on it, and still looks new (just scrubbed in :thumb:).  I'll send this out for $50 shipped.

If you want both (you'll just have to buy a rear M1 if you can find it, but I hear the M3s are pretty good) I'll ship them for $180.

Kat wheel (imagine the tire is gone..)

Well, these things cost like $100 to ship, considering you buy it almost anywhere off craigslist for 150, I'd say you're looking at a local sale.
I know of this huge wrecking yard, evidently 8-10 years ago he used to make more $$ selling parts off bikes that he totally stopped selling bikes and working on them. Now a days he says cost of shipping, the craigslist and similar sites as well as fleabay have cut into his market so much, he is putting bikes back together and working on them and making $$ that way. Walk in's are his only source of parts sales evidently. No more hotline, no more coast to coast selling, nothing.
Cool.

From what I can tell, shipping this will be much cheaper than $100, so I'm still willing to ship it.  I'm not trying to make money off of it, just trying not to lose too much.  I don't have much of a problem holding on to these, as I'm sure someone will pop up who wants to do the wheel swap.

I'm open to offers as well.  Thanks for the advice just the same Mr Srinath :thumb:

I'm in the middle of a sale for the rear wheel only right now, but if for some weird reason it falls through I'll let you know.  The front tire is still available though.

May be interested.  What size is the front?

Sorry, thought I put that in the original post...it's a 120/70 ZR 17 Metzeler M-1 made just over a year ago with about 2400 miles on it.  I'll ship it to you for $50 if you're interested.
