Neutral light (Paging John Bates?)

Have searched and read a ton but my question is not answered.  I do not have a side stand or clutch switch on my bike currently.  (Easy safety Nazis!)  This causes my neutral light to be permanently on.  Is there any way to make the light function without spending big $ on these new switches?  I am about ready to pull the bulb but would rather make the light work if possible.  Any one who is good with electrical schematics what to have a look?

Thanks

Those switches shouldn't have caused that problem.More than likely the switch under the front sprocket cover is dirty or bad. There maybe a bad connection grounding the wire causing the light to stay on.

Assuming your neutral switch is working correctly........find the plug in diode pack under the seat, then cut and tape up the the green wire going into it.
