What oil and filter do you guys use??

 10W40 any of your favorite to cheapest brands. I use what I put in my car.. Pennzoil.. 10W40, its usually cheap and I buy by the case and use it it all my vehicles  The GS isnt picky 

Filter wise, most here seem to like the Fram.. comes w/ a good replacement gasket  I always buy the OEM filter.. its like $5 at the dealer 

Rotella 15W40, Fram CH6000

The Fram brand seems to be the only brand that has a form gasket that fits.  The rest are too small and try to pop off when you install the cover.

I dab of gasket sealant here and there and you can make the o-ring stay. shrug. i mean, if you -want- to use another brand of filters.

esso xd3 0w40 synthetic and wix filter (never have had a prob with the seal)



and now the can of worms opens up  ( oil debate )

I use Fram filters part number CH6000.Comes with gasket/O ring.I use 10-40 Valvoline motorcycle oil.Total for my oil change is around $11.
