Removing rear brake lines?

Simple question:  How do I remove the rear brake lines from the clamps that are attached to the swingarm?  The Haynes manual says to use a screw driver.  Do I bend the clips/clamps up and pull the brake line out from underneath?    I tried that briefly, but it felt like I might break something.

I just bend the tabs. Only a little movement is required to get the line out. The tab can be tapped back into place when the new line is installed.

OK.  It just didn't seem like I could bend them w/o breaking them.  I'll give it another go later.

Mine weren't that tight.I slid a #2 phillips between the line and the clip.
PICS are GONE never TO return.

I'm not suggesting a major bend! Just the slightest tab movement was required (in my case) to get the brake line free.
