this one im workin on now, the battery is brand new, fully charged, but when i go to start it sometimes, it clicks super fast like the battery is dead. the conncetions on the battery seem fine, the leads seem fine, and if i hit the ignition kill switch to off and then on with some enthusiam, it starts up, but if i shut the bike on and off, it does it again, and it didnt used to do this. what gives? any ideas? once it starts it runs fine, and if i hook my portable jumper/charger up to the leads it starts fine......the 2 issues shouldnt be related, but they seem to be, maybe ive a grounding issue?

Dirty or corroded battery terminals, starter connection,or starter relay wires. The starter or relay could be bad.Or you maybe experiencing goat's syndrome AKA Starwalt's disease. http://gstwins.com/gsboard/index.php?topic=13774.30
PICS are GONE never TO return.

i think starwalt was in need of an impact wrench, a hose, and even just a propane bottle filled with air to at the gas station to run his gun, seriously, proper tools for the yob yaknow... but anyhow, the thread is a little enlightening. i ran the bike a bunch yesterday, ill see what it does today. i dont know how a battery could have so much power it kicks over like an empty machine gun, but not enough amperage to juice the starter motor.....doesnt make sense, what makes even less sense is it doesnt happen once the bike is warm, and it wont happen if i use a jumper OR if i hit the kill switch off and then on hard, must be a short.....i hate diagnosing electrical issues.
