The maggot is shooting coolant and oil out the positive crankcase vent.  I'm losing about a quarter quart every 80 miles...if that much.  I'm losing quite a bit more coolant.

The crazy part?

There's no coolant in the crankcase.

The hell?

I did a compression check and it pulled good.  Failed a leak-down test but I didn't expect it to pass since coolant was disappearing.  Either one should leave coolant in the crankcase, though...

well oddly enough it's one of the o-rings through the block.  by this point it could be a slightly blown headgasket as well....I couldn't say.  I'm about tired of it is what I CAN say, and my other block is about to go in the bike.

Fun...

Well, if a ring in the cooling system was shot (as I had suspected) or if a headgasket was blown then there would be water in the oil.  No water in the oil.

My PCV system is nuts, though.  In 70 miles I expelled half a cup of water into each catch can...not so much in the left cylinder can, I don't think.  However, in 70 miles the right cylinder expelled at least 12oz of oil (16oz catch cans and it was full).  Left cylinder expelled no oil.

No gas is being forced into the cooling system...ran the bike with rad cap off and revved the shaZam! out of her and nothing came out the cap.  Nothing is being expelled through the right cylinder PCV when cold...I revved the shaZam! out of her with the hose vented in cite and nothing came out but air...which is all that's supposed to come out.

I'm baffled.  I'm putting my other motor in the bike this weekend and see how that works.  I should have done that to begin with instead of changing stator covers.
