I really think motorcycling is the best way to see nature. Whats better than nature itself talking to you in howling winds 

I have a Canon 30D with a Tamron 17-50 lens. This set almost cost me the same price as my motorcycle. The software on the website is an open source  photo blogging code, http://www.pixelpost.org the slide show is a plugin for that software.

Btw I am almost certain that engine is toast, did not get time to confirm my speculations this weekend, would do it the next weekend.

change to synthetic oil and bring some with you on trips.   a trick with the gs, i have found, is if neutral is getting sticky or hard to find you are beginning to run low on oil.  i have found this true on all 3 of my gs 89 01 and the new one

I really enjoyed the pictures and the story about your journey. The SV mirrors and huge pile of stuff on the tail looks familiar to my bike...
