Seamax , do you need to take the fairing off for oil check ?

With TCP it's hard to get to the dipstick because of small clearance , GSR is snugly fit I see

The new GSR fairing looks amazing  :o

looks like a rc51 and a ninja had a love child ! i like it ! all it needs is a gsx-r to do a three-way and add it's signal mirrors to the mix ;)

nice looking doo-hicky there !

Yes, you do need to take the lower fairing off to check oil or adjust idle, etc. I usually do this when she's naked and fill her to about 3.5 quarts of oil. That would last me thru the whole spring summer and fall season withou any issues.

I will take pics of her tonight while she is still naked. Will also post some pics with full fairing after another layer of flat black and matte clear.

I'm itching to ride so I'm rushing some things.

The GS with the GSX-R fairing was the shizzle!

Ok I got some pics of her naked...she's not running well yet. I have some fuel leak issues. Once that is resolve I'll take some pics of her full faired.

She has a mean growl too.  :thumb: Very Buellish. I just need to get this carb leak problem fix. Will take some more pics of her nice tail when it's nice outside again.

It's no necesary to take off the bottom TCP fairing to check the oil, there's enough room to use some electrician pliers and a rag to unscrew the oil cap, I do use a rag to avoid scratching the cap, and then you can pick up the dipstick and check the oil. Only if you have really BIG hands there will be a problem. To change the oil then yu'll have to remove 6 screws on each side of the fairing, and take off the bottom fairing as a hole, no big deal.
