Decided to take a short clip of riding in circles, to see just how tight/leaned things really get. It may -seem- like I'm getting pretty tight and low at the time, but the video confirms I'm really really lame. :(

It also confirmed that a V&H exhaust isn't nearly as obnoxious to others as it seems while riding. It just kind putters by, no fanfare, no big deal. See whatimean ? (3 minutes of boring video follows, but the soundtrack doesn't suck)

That one edit there, about halfway though, did you drop it???

Honestly , your turns look plenty smooth, controlled, and certainly tight enough for street use. For tighter you're going to have to slide a cheek off.  Better than I usually currently do, I'm readjusting to my new throttle response. 8)

actually, some trash was blown into my path, i fixated, and stopped mid turn... almost balanced in a track stand, but failed. no drop, but it still looked dumb on the video so I cut it.

iMovieHD + QuickTimePro = i can cobble stuff. :)

I can do a short track stand on my MTB, on a good day, if the wind is blowing in my favor.   :icon_mrgreen:

I can stop for a few seconds on the moto. If I tried to do a track stand on the moto though, I would most likely fall over like Arte Johnson on his tricycle on Laugh In, dating myself here for all the young 'uns.

Check out how the Japanese motorcycle cops do slow-speed manuveuring.  They have a 'rodeo' to see who can perform all the manuveurs from the licence test back-to-back the fastest.  A good watch, big bikes too!  8)

Watching the Japanese footage made me think of a couple things. First this is what an autocross would look like if the MSF created it. And secondly I really suck at riding compared to them. A couple of them did those leans and never put a foot or knee down. Darned impressive

Those cops were pretty sweet. I like the bike's wonder what kind they were. Here in Kissimmee they ride Hardly Ablesons.

i love the jap cop's display of skill. good link. some of the videos found on youtube of jap cops (said with respect mind you) are incredible. squeezing a bike (ANY BIKE!) into a 40* angle and turning in 8-10 feet is wow material.

back when i actually road (and raced) mtb and roadie, track stands were the show off thing. i was pretty good, stumps, logs, hay bales, bikes, nothing really kept me back. now, i'm a fat looser :D
