What material did you use for your bracket? What did you use to bend it? I'm wanting to make a bracket for my stock taillight so I can flip it over and recess it further into the body.
Some aluminum I had laying around.  I clamped it to a metal table and pushed down on it with my hands.  Very low tech! :)  The piece that will mount to the bike is a small piece of 90 degree angle aluminum I had laying around.  Just cut it to the desired length and bolted it on.

Cool, thanks. One other quick question. I'm planning on painting my rear wheel to match my front in a few weeks. Any advice? Specifically prep work.

I used paint stripper to remove all the old paint.  The wheel itself seems to be rough enough to hold painte without any sanding.  I put on 2 coats of primer, and 2 coats of paint.  Make sure to mask off your tire!

I am also painting my rims.I'm doing the same thing as cosmiccharlie. My front wheel has some light surface pitting.I'm using JB Weld to fill the pits in.Body fillers will crack and eventually fall out. It's a good idea to have your wheels/tires balanced after painting.

Update!  I mounted my ducati monster mufflers today.  I probably won't use the stock duc pipes from the mufflers.  They are too close to the foot peg.  I'll just get the muffler shop to weld a Y pipe from the mufflers and then a single pipe to the header.  I am also going to have to raise the turn signals because they are too close to the muffler.  They look better in person than in these pictures.

The Antibody

wow, looks good. how much do they weigh? Looks a bit heavy on the right. Perhaps you can buy a left saddle bag to balance.  :icon_lol:

They don't weigh too much.  A bit more than stock, but it will be ok.

Been working hard on the bike recently.  Jets and a K&N lunchbox are on the way.  I'll be putting the wiring harness back in this weekend.  Hopefully I'll be able to fire it up sometime next week.  I still need to rebuild the front end with a set of Sonic springs and order a front brake rotor.

Fry, I haven't forgotten about you.  I'll try to get you the pictures this weekend.

cosmiccharlie

Wiring harness is in!  Rejetting carbs and buying a battery this week.
