THIS THING IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE

got an engine from NEPIX. I thought I was going to need some parts but realized I dont. I dont know what year it is but it is the kind without the oil cooler.

Name your part. Everything is priced 5$ (donation to site) + shipping

pay through paypal or money order

Its a complete engine minus carbs. I was going to powdercoat all of the covers black but I just dont need to right now because I am moving to Virginia in a few months and need to situate myself for the move.

thanks for looking

How much to donate for the whole engine? Need decent bottom end, have good top end since this one is bust? I'm in Bay Area, but would be willing to drive.

75$ to the site but I am about 500 miles away from you. The engine weighs upwards of 140 pounds.

Yes I looked up your zip from the other thread, it's not too far, and still far cheaper than shipping the thing.
Really need to get the bike fixed up or my parents will kill me  :icon_rolleyes:.

Email me with details at s_chikanov@yahoo.com and we can work something out.

Thanks.

Any chance I could call dibs on the starter clutch assembly?  I'll be able to get mine off this afternoon (engine's been open for a couple weeks...been waiting on an impact gun) and I'm pretty sure that's my problem.  Thanks a ton for doing what your doing :thumb:

I meant your address and phone number so I could call you to set up a time to drive down and pick it up. Kinda assumed you wouldn't want to post that ;).
That and any other details you had on the condition of the motor aside from what I garnered from the other thread where you got it.
I think I can come down this Saturday the 3rd for it.

Badguy, my bad motor has a good starter clutch assembly if you still want it and I end up getting this.

the thing is that I know that there is something wrong with this motor but I dont know what. When I picked it up from NEPIX's place I saw a piece of metal in one of the exhaust ports so I imagine also that maybe a valve snapped in there. I am free any time this weekend.

Did you end up selling the motor? I really need a set of cam caps (or possibly a whole head)!

email me if you're still selling

None will work on your head. They are machined to match your particular head. You will need the complete head.

If they're old or worn enough they could still fit or I could machine them to fit... or someone could sell me a new head cheap. One way or another I have to fix this thing!
