If its fuel injection and you have a choke and jets, you have massive problems. You would not have a carb w/ fuel injection. Fuel injection would eliminate the need for a choke and jets  :icon_mrgreen:

No GS is fuel injected.  :thumb:

Post a little clearer description of you problem and maybee someone can help  O0

05 engines are carbed. If you have bogging on bottom end you carbs need to be cleaned and possibly rejetted.Do you have a different exhaust or an air filter that's not factory?Any air filter or exhaust that's not factory will require the carbs to be rejetted.

The throttle position sensor helps the computerized ignition to give the best spark timing.

Here's a pic of the 2003 to 2008 carbs. http://cgi.stanford.edu/~sanjayd/gs500/Main/2003-current

Here's a thread about adjusting the throttle position sensor. It to has pics of the 2003 to 2008 carbs.

If you have a fuel injected engine send me pics and I'll host and post them.
