I have a 2005 GS500E.  The person before me put a very cool dual headlight on it (not the buell style).  The bike is awesome, except at high speeds on the highway so I've decided to put a windshield on.  Now, I've done a bit of research on the different windshields available and it seems that I'm going to have to get a universal windshield (something that mounts on the handlebars, like the Spitfire) but I am not really keen on the styles that are out there.  I'm trying to keep my bike looking sporty, and not cruiserish....Anyway, I will post pics so you get an idea of what I'm working with.  Just wondering if anyone knows of a decent universal windshield or something else that would work.  (I like the style of the F-15, F-16 windshields).

...and yes, I've gone though the forums researching this.  Don't think anyone has the same headlights as me though.

a few pictures of your headlight setup might help- you may find that making your own shield might be best.

a little lexan, a little heat, and before you know it, you've got a shield that is exactly what you're looking for.

is it the wind or the noise that bothers you or both? A better helmet might be the cure  like an Arai or Shoei.

Yes some pictures will help a lot. I'm interested to see what these look like.

I bought a windshield from twistedthrottle.com...may have to do some trimming to make it fit, but I'll post pics when I have it attached.

Hey nice bike.  Any chance you got the windshield installed yet?  If you don't mind, can you post some pics. Planning out the same headlight mod and would like to see how yours came out.  Also, what screen did you end up with?

Yes, I have it installed and its looks good!!!  Although its a smaller windshield, I had it on the highway and it makes a big difference, which is exactly what \I was looking for.  I will try and get pics up ASAP...
