Hi All!
I've been off bikes for about 5 years now and about 3 months ago got the bug to get back on the road again.  I've been looking at a number of used bikes over that time and picked up a 92 GS yesterday.   :mrgreen:   I have been lurking in the shadows of gstwin.com for a while now and look forward to sticking around for a while.  
Excellent site and great info on the bike!  I was already out this morning for a quick clean and ride and going to start some simple mods this afternoon!

Good choice, welcome & good luck. Some mods? hmmmm the fenderechtomy lobby will be out in force very soon.

Cut that fender off. Replace the fork springs if they're stock. Consider taking an MSF course to refresh you skills if they're rusty.

Thanks for the warm welcome.  Fender coming off tonight.  And just took the MSF course last weekend.  I'm looking at replacing the turn signals and other minor cosmetic mods for now.  I want to repaint in the not too distant future (she's the stock '92 Purple) and generally make her look like new.

I'm in Fairfield, more-so, Travis Air-Plane Patch.
I told my better half she needed to give me extra lovin after a long ride just to confirm my hetero side...
Any so far the logic is working in my favor!!!
I look forward to hooking up with some of the locals when the weather breaks...though today is beautiful!
