finally got the bike all back together, the EZ out screw extracter worked great,

seems like the idle changes a little a tad lower, also the choke doesn't seem to work as well, if I have the chock half way on it warms up ok all the way it stalls
if it is idling and a add some choke it stalls or dips for a sec then in the middle will rise to 3-4K

then riding the bike it seemed like it performed better at lower RPM, less surging
and maybe a little hessitant when at say 6K and then hitting the throttle

AND IDEAS?
do I need to adjust the mixture, or did I mess up reinstalling the choke cabble

Thanks again

How did you set the idle mixture screws?

Set the idle to 1200 with the bike well warmed up using the idle speed adjuster. Turn 1 mixture screw out a turn, and then turn it in slowly until you reach maximum idle. If you go past, turn it back out and sneak up on from the rich side again. Turn the screw back out 1/4 turn.

Re-set the idle to 1200, and repeat for the other side.

Probably balancing the carbs would be a good idea too.

Drove her this morning, and she warmed up sooo much quicker.

but the choke might still have some issues, but I am too lazy to take the tank off again

Yea you may have a coke cable that is holding the choke slightly open, or an air screw that's too rich. But if it works on 1/2 choke and you dont want to do it all over again... well use 1/2 choke... nothing wrong with that.
Cool.
