While I am not new to motorcycles, I have never done my own work.  I never had an opportunity to learn about engines, mechanics, etc when I was younger.  I always regretted that. 

When I bought my '04 500F last weekend, it was with the intention of learning to do repair, replacement, and maintenance on my own...and this is pretty good info for the absolute beginner (like me).
