i will type out the whole story later.  I just got home from work 5:30 on thursday till 400 am on friday.  IT is now 730....By some cruel joke or punishment from the motor cylcle gods   my bike decided to blow its engine between orlando and my house around 5 Am.   i will type the whole story after i get some sleep.  thanks for the pitty up front.


Oh yea and if anyone has an engine they might want to sell me  just pm me and we can talk....

did you get the bike home ? i'm in tampa, but the truck doesn't mind helping out-

sorry man, sometimes, life just bites.

bike is still at a buddies house.. i will pick it up when i come home from work tomorrow morning.  He ended  towing me to his place..  And Let me tel you if you want to get noticed riding a bike on the highway.. ataching it to a truck with a long rope and riding  is one way to do it....the looks were almost worth it.... I even got to toss in a few "waves"..

Theres a few threads about it , it slides in the engine slot , and needs like one engine mount added , 50 bhp with a 5 speed gear box

Contact wearse.He has installed a GR in a GS.Changing the head allows the GR to rev as high as the GS.GR650 Tempter was only imported into the US for 2 years.82-83 IIRC.
