Ok, the wiring harness is back in.  I am waiting on jets for the carb and a K&N lunchbox ordered last week.  I'll go get a battery this week and hopefully fire it up this weekend.  Then the only thing left is to rebuild the front end with a set of sonic springs and add the dual headlights!

I received my K&N lunchbox yesterday, carb jets today, rear turn signals should be here tomorrow. The ducati rear signals were too big once I moved the exhaust back to clear the foot peg. I also bought slightly used (6000 miles) levers, grips, controls and a front brake rotor from a 2006 GS500. I also bought a piece of ABS plastic to rivet under the seat frame. That will keep water and grime off of the electronics and battery. The only thing left to buy is a dry cell battery, a set of sonic springs for the front forks, front signals and a set of headlights!  I should have it on the road in a week or two!  :icon_twisted:

I'd like to buy a hugger for the rear, but not sure if I want to spend $200 for one.

Jay_wolf

Can modify a bandit 400 hugger , for it to fit , i have one on my gs , the pics i saw of it was cut down because of the size of the rear tire . but as im running a 150 on the 4.5 inch wheel it fits spot on , being the b4 uses a 150 on a 4 inch rim

and on the german wiki , looks like the RGV250 hugger looks like a good mod. hope this helps and i cant wait to see this!!

It's not done yet.  I got screwed on the parts I needed by a member named "pizza".  He had everything I needed, but never sent my parts.  All paypal was able to recover from his paypal account was $2.74 out of $85!     So I still have to find the parts I need and I'm out $82.26!

SIKDMAX

WTF!  Time to send out the GSTwin Squad to hunt him down and burn at the stake!

What parts are you still in need of?  Maybe we can hunt them down.

Post up all his contact info that you have on this loser.

Yeah it sucks.  I did all I could do.  Left him negative feedback for him on here so noone else buys from him.  However I think he is gone now.  He hasn't logged in since May 28th.

I was buying a low milage front brake rotor,  Hand levers, controls, grips and a starter relay.  If anyone has these parts let me know.

WerxRacing
