I just picked up a 1990 GS 500 that was crashed, was runnin when hit, now has no spark. I tried all the obvious switches and fuses, could the crash have knocked out the CDI? front end was largest hit, bent fork tubes beyond repair, smashed out headlamp, bent handle bar, turns over great, no leaks all lights work. any help? THANKS!

What side hit the ground?It maybe the ignitor or pick ups.Yes possibly the CDI control.
